⏭️Monsoon winds are affected by many factors. Indian Monsoon is complex climate condition to explain detail so will list some of the important and simple factors.

⏭️SW trade winds

⏭️Physical barriers(topography) - The Himalayas and The Western Ghats act as physical barriers which drive the direction of Monsoon Winds

⏭️Heating of Tibetan plateau in summer, which create the low-pressure condition north of Himalayas, which drives SW Trade winds towards low pressure.(Northward shifting of the ITCZ - Low Pressure)

⏭️Permanent High-pressure condition in the south of the Indian ocean

⏭️S-E trade winds from S Hemisphere cross the equator and turn right due to Coriolis force in N Hemisphere.

⏭️Tropical Easterly Jet(TEJ) - Upper air circulation

Elnino and Lanino are major factors of monsoon intensity.
