See, what happens is that when we inhale oxygen then it goes in the lungs and in alveoli then it is absorbed by red blood cells (RBC's) and the process starts.
There are 2 types of respiration aerobic and anaerobic in aerobic oxygen is there but in other presence of oxygen is not there so the oxygen rich blood helps in the breakdown of glucose and as we know that glucose gives us energy so the glucose is broken and energy is produced .
The waste product formed is Methyl Alcohol and is disposed off by our body.
