MALE REPRODUCTIVE SYSTEM: The reproductive organ of male which produce new young ones are known as male reproductive system. It is categorised in many parts.
- Testis: It is the organ which produces both hormones known as Testosterone and reproducing gametes known as sperm. Each testis have 200 to 300 Locule which contain Vas efferentia in which millions of spermatids are produced. The cell which produce sperm are known as SMC ( Sperm Mother cell ). The space outside the locule have Leydig cells which is responsible for producing testosterone.
- Epidydmis: The spermatids produced in testis need to be stored and is stored in epidydmis. it nourishes the sperm until it is ejaculated. It is also known as sperm bank.
- Vas defferens: It is the tube which takes the sperm from epidydmis to urethra.
- Seminal Vesicle: On the way, sperm get through many glands in which all gland add their secretion to it. This gland add its secretion for nourishment of sperm .
- prostate gland: this gland add its secretion for fluidity of sperm and protect sperm from vaginal acidity.
