The purpose of the organs of the male reproductive system is to perform the following functions:


To produce, maintain, and transport sperm (the male reproductive cells) and protective fluid (semen)


To discharge sperm within the female reproductive tract during sex


To produce and secrete male sex hormones responsible for maintaining the male reproductive system

                  REPRODUCTIVE ORGANS OF A MALE

TESTES: Male Reproductive organ and  also an endocrine gland which produces both, sperm and hormones (testosterone)

SPERM DUCT OR VAS DEFERENS: a narrow tube which connects the testes to the urethra. It  transports sperm and semen  and helps to exit the body.

PENIS-Transfers sperm into the female body.

BLADDER: holds urine prior to urination.  Urine leaves the bladder via  urethra.

URETHRA: A tube  inside the penis which is connected to the bladder. It allows urine and semen to exit the body.
