the male sex hormones are sperms their head is 0.01mm . After the sperms enters the vagina only some of it from 20 to 40 million manages to swim to the oviduct and the others die and are absorbed. If there is any egg cell in the oviduct it is fused by only one sperm nucleus and when before they reach the oviduct only the head goes and the tail is left back. This is fertillisation .
