Mandatory signs are signs that MUST be followed. They are present to ensure that minimal to NO accidents occur by mainly restricting the movement of vehicles and (or) pedestrians. Examples include the STOP sign, NO ENTRY sign, ROAD CLOSED sign, NO ANIMAL DRIVEN VEHICLE sign. Caution signs are traffic signs that warn road users of impending danger. They are usually characterised by a triangle with it's apex upwards. Examples include; SHARP RIGHT TURN, STEEP ASCEND AHEAD, ROAD NARROWS AHEAD. Information sings are traffic sings that give road users general knowledge about the road in use. Examples include; HOSPITAL, FERRY, FUEL STATION, BUS STOP, RESTAURANT.
