Heart is the most sensitive part of our body. It is the muscular organ , which act as pump . It is about the size of closed fist.

  • Human heart is made up of four chamber.
  • The heart is separated into right and left side , with two chamber on each side by a thick wall tissue called the septum.
  • Each half of the heart is divided into an upper chamber called auricle.
  • The lower chamber called ventricle.
  • Auricle receive the blood and pumped into the ventricle.
  • Ventricle push the bloods into different parts of body.
  • The valves in the heart help the blood to flow in one direction.

1) heart is a pear shaped structure , ∆ in outline , wider at the anterior end and narrower at the posterior end .

2) Heart is covered with 2 layers of membrane . The membranes are called "pericardial membrane " .

The place between this layers protects our jeet from shock and this space is filled with pericardial fluid .

3) Heart divided into 4 parts . we call the upper 2 parts as atria ( auricles ) and lower 2 parts as "ventricals" .

4) The blood found on the walls of heart are "coronary vessels" or "artery vein" . This artery vein supply blood to the muscles of the heart.

5) Valves are thicker in ventricals and valves are thinner in Auries .Larger artery is aorta.

The smaller one is pulmonary artery which carries blood from heart to the lungs .

6) The rigid vessels are arteries which is from heart and supply blood to various organs of our body .

The less rigid vessels are veins which bring blood from all parts to the heart .

7) The valve which present in right auricle between right atrium and right ventricle is known as " Tricuspid-Valve " .

8) The valve which is in left auricle between left atrium and left ventricle is known as " Bicuscid Valve " .

9) Majority of the blood vessel birth is in right ventricle ( pulmonary arota ) .

The valves present near P__A is known as " Pulmonary Valves " .

10) Majority of the blood vessel originates from left vertical ( systematic arota ) .

The valves present near S___A is known as " Systematic Valves " .

11) In the right atrium ===> Superior , interior venacava and pulmonary vein are found .

12 ) In the left atrium ===> pulmonary veins , which comes from heart to lungs .

13) From upper part of the left ventricle a thick blood vessel arota arises and it supplies oxygenated blood to body parts .

14) From upper part of the right ventricle pulmonary artery arises that supplies de-oxygenated blood to the lungs .

Heart is located towards our left chest but not totally just little tilted .
