Antonio is sad n he don't know the reason of his sadness. his frnds tell that he is sad because of his ships which r at sea. the larger ships rule over the small ships. N his frnds also said that he may be in love also. But he tells that I m not sad bcoz of my ships nor I m not in love. N then Bassanio comes to met Antonio n take loan from Antonio to go to Belmont n marry Portia.
