Limitations of the coulomb's law of electrostatic charges
1. The size of the object with the static charge is to be treated as a point of no size. It means that the law is not applicable truly in case of a finite sized (spherical) charge.
2. It is valid for static charges. If a charge is moving then the law is not valid exactly.

Limitations :-
• It is valid only for static charges not for charges in motion
• It is valid only for small or point charges not for Big charges , it gets failed . Or u can say only valid for point charges at rest .
• It is only applicable to those cases where inverse square law is obeyed
