Nelson Mandela during his childhood didn't know the real meaning of freedom but after he grew up he came to know the real meaning of it. He feels as his obligation towards his country he needed to release his whole land, not just himself. What's the point in having a kind of freedom where you still can't be free in your surroundings? He believes the oppressed and the oppressor alike are robbed of humanity. With everything going on in nature, the oppressed have been robbed of the idea of freedom and been changed with violence , their mind has been filled with the idea of prejudice whereas the oppressed are the ones who are suffering.
