howdy dude ,

your answer is here ----

MOLE CONCEPT
_______________

•A mole is a collection of 6.002×10^23 particles

• a mole is defined as ---
the amount of substance that contains the same number of entities ( atoms , molecules ,ions etc) as the number of atoms present in 12g of the carbon-12 isotopes .

the mass of carbon 12 atom was determined by a mass spectrometer and found to be equal to 1.992648×10^-23g. now , the one mole of carbon weight 12g , the number of atom on it is equal to :
12g/mol C12/ 1.992648 × 10^23
= 6.00221367×10^23 atoms/mol

• 1 mole = 6.002 × 10^23 particles ( in term of particle )

• 1 mole = 22.4 liter at NTP ( in term of volume)

hole it help you ★

First of all...You should know that a Mole is just a NUMBER...

Its a very very very HUGE number...

1 Mole = 6.023 x 10 raised to the power 23 THINGS

For example :

Pair = It is again a kind of number where we have Two Things at a time...Like pair of shoes , socks , shirt etc...

Dozen = In dozen we have 12 Things, So dozen is again a Number which is used to represent 12 things....

Similarly , Mole is just a number which is a very Hige number.....

We have two types of World, Microscopic and Macroscopic...

Macroscopic world is the one where we can see the things by our eyes open...like we can see Trees , birds , plane , moon etc....

Microscopic world is the one where we cannot see things by our eyes...these things are too small like atoms , molecules , ions , Subatomic particles ( electron , proton and neutrons )....

We cannot make use of Mole for the Macroscopic world...it is useless...Means If u take 1 mole of grapes
i.e, 1 mole of grapes = 6 x 10 raised to the power 23 grapes....it is a huge number of grapes which can easily fill our entire Earth...So we xannot make use of Mole for the Macroscopic world...

Mole is used for Microscopic world , where we have Mole of atoms , ions , molecules etc...

Now 1 mole = 6 x 10 raised to the power 23 THINGS
Here Things are Atoms , Molecules , Ions , Subatomic particles etc.,

1 mole of Atoms = 6 x 10 raised to the power 23 Atoms
1 mole of Molecules = 6 x 10 raised to the power 23 Molecules etc,.

So

1 mole of carbon -12 atoms = 6 x 10 raised to the power 23 carbon -12 atoms

If we take 1 Mole of carbon -12 atoms , it weighs 12g ( Atomic mass of carbon -12 atoms = 12u)
If we take 1 Mole of Hydrogen atoms, it weighs 1g
( Atomic mass of Hydrogen atoms = 1u)
In this way , we get a nice conversion between Mole and mass of an atoms...

The same thing applicable to molecules also...
for example :

The molar mass of H2O = 2 x 1 + 16 = 18u
If we take 1 mole of H2O , we will have 18g of H20...

Anonymous: very nice answer thank you very very much
