Onomatopoeia is a poetic device in which you deal with the sounds of poetry.
Many people confuse onomatopoeia with interjections; however, they are two different and distinct concepts.
But we deal with""sounds"" in onomatopoeia
ex.. rattle it means rapid succession of short sharp sounds,
i was used in the poem "Snake" BY DH LAWRENCE.
