molecules are in constant motion(velocity constant) then it has kinetic energy because if an object is in motion then it has some energy called kinetic energy

kinetic energy =1/2mv²

according to formula if velocity constant the kinetic energy also constant if we consider that mass does not change with time

and a given medium or state velocity is constant if the medium changes its velocity changes and kinetic energy also changes

2-kinetic energy depends upon temp if we increase temp by giving heat energy

then this energy will taken by the molecule and use it as increasing its kinetic energy

because the temp is the average kinetic energy of the molecules
