explain me why respiration is reverse of photosynthesis

As they are completely opposite process as respiration ocuur inside the cell and photosynthesis outside..

respiration is reverse of photosynthesis because reactants in respiration are the products of photosynthesis. in photosynthesis co2 and h2o are taken in and oxygen is by product of energy production while in respiration oxygen is taken in and co2 is a by product of energy production..
