Individual Series: Individual Series is a statistical series in which the all the observations are listed out and all the observations have a frequency of 1. For eg: 1 , 2 , 3 , 4 , 5 , 6 , 7 , 8 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8 is an Individual Series.

Continuous series means where frequencies are given along with the value of the variable in the form of class intervals. For example. Here: ... are class intervals. (ii) 3, 7, 11, 9, 6 is known as their respective frequencies.
