Metals are hard,sonorous, malleable, non-brittle, has good tensile strength and is a good conductor of electricity.


Non-metals are soft, non-sonorous, brittle, non-malleable, does not have tensile strength, and is a bad conductor of electricity.


Examples of metals are :Iron, Gold, Silver., etc.

Examples of non-metals are :Carbon, Helium, Argon., etc.
