Answer:

Power sharing is the very spirit of democracy. A democratic rule involves sharing power with those affected by its exercise, and who have to live with its effects. People have a right to be consulted on how they are to be governed. A legitimate government is one where citizens, through participation, acquire a stake in the system.

Moral Reason: The avoiding conflict in society and preventing majority tyranny are considered as prudential reasons for power sharing. Maintaining the spirit of democracy is considered as the moral reason for power sharing. By sharing power, we respect the basic theme of democracy.❤

Problems associated with development of resources are:

● as the resources will increase in a certain area, there are chances that more people will try to shift in that area due to presence of abundance of resources. So, increase in the population will be a problem associated with resource development.

● secondly, resource development will surely lead to their consumption in huge amount and that will result in their depletion at a faster rate. It is the human nature that if we are sure of presence of anything in abundance then we will use that substance in excess leading to its destruction.

● if the population in an area will increase, there will be an increase in industrialisation in that area and that will contribute to pollution. Resource development can prove to be a reason for increase in the pollution.
