cordless 3D mouse: this is something like a tv remote or other remotes. they can be operated by just pointing at them.
mechanical mouse: this is a mouse that contains a large rubber ball in it. when the ball is moved the sensors start working and the cursor is moved accordingly.
optical mouse: it is a mouse that uses led to detect the surface movement and it moves accordingly.
cordless mouse: an usb receiver is kept in the pc and the pc recieves signals accordingly and then moves.
