◉ Also known as Skeletal Muscles.
◉ It attached to bone in Limbs.
◉ Types of control is voluntary.
◉ It forms bundles.
◉ No. of nuclei is Multinucleate.
◉ Nerve supply is from central nervous system.
◉ Speed of contraction is most rapid.

①❭ They are responsible for locomotion.
②❭ It control the breathing movement.
③❭ This muscles are also help in in digestion of food.

The muscular tissue is composed of muscle fibres. These fibres remain attached to each other and firm bundles. There are 600 muscles in the human body. They form about 40-50℅ of the body weight. The muscles make the body and body organs musculature. Some muscles are attached to the skeleton. Some are not attached to the skeleton.
