Explain -- naphthalene balls disappear with time without leaving any solid because they undergo sublimation i.E., they directly change into vapour without passing through the liquid state.

Naphthalene balls disappear because of the process of Sublimation at room temperature (a process bywith solid directly changes to gaswithout going through the intermediate state of matter, liquid is called as Sublimation). So as it goesthrough Sublimation, the naphthalene balls is converted to gas from solid.
