explain narmada bachao andolan

Piyushzawar: it was movement undertaken by villagers or tribals leaving there , they were opposing because their land was taken back from them and unfertile land was given to them and deforestation was also taking place on a huge scale..

it is a movement initiated by environmentalists,farmers,tribal people and human rights activists against the construction of Sardar Sarovar Dam on Narmada river in Gujarat.......
