During the early periods of human history when man didn't have access to advanced technologies they were completely dependent upon nature.They were mostly afraid of nature and worshipped them.They were directly dependent on nature for their livelihood (food etc).Thus we can say that they were controlled by nature.This is called naturalization of humans.

Example:The tribes of central India Abujh Maad wears a small loin cloth and has a small axe. They practice primitive agriculture by clearing a piece of land in forest. He drinks water from a stream. He gathers roots and leaves to eat. This example shows how man is dependent upon nature for his livelihood.
