The Nervous tissue is a type of tissue that transfers stimulus from one place to another place with in the body. The nervous tissue is mainly composed of brain, spinal cord and nerves. The cells of this tissue are called as Neurons or Nerve cells. The cell body is made up of dentrites, nucleus, axon and nerve ending. The dentrites are the branched parts which have connections with an another neuron. The signals got by the dentrites are passed to a long single structure called as Axon. The Axon have connections with another type of branched parts called as Nerve ending. The signals that passes through the nerve are called as Nerve Impulses.
