- Newton's first - Every body continues its state of rest or uniform motion unless it is compelled by an external unbalanced force
- Newton's 2nd law -The rate of change of momentum of a body is directly proportional to the external unbalanced force and it takes place in the direction of force
- Newton's 3rd law -For every action there is an equal and opposite reaction
