newtons 1st law states that an object will remain at rest until and unless an external force is acting upon that object

example: a ball which is at rest will only move if an external force acts on the ball  OR When in motion, the airplane will not slow down, unless something greater acts upon it.

Answer:-

Newton's First law of motion states that every body continues in its state of rest or of uniform motion is a straight line unless it is compelled by some external force to change that state.
