newtons law of motion states than an object will not change its speed or direction unless a force acts on it.
eg:- if u slide hockey ball on ice it will stop after sometime because if friction on the ice
Hope it helps u

Newton's first law of motion
According to this law a body at rest will remain in rest and body in motion will remain in motion until an external force is applied.
It is based on inertia. Like inertia of rest inertia of motion and inertia of direction
Newton's second law of motion according to this law the rate of change of momentum of a body is directly proportional to the force applied over it.
F=momentum/ time
Newton's third law of motion according to this law to every action there is a equal and opposite reaction.
Due to eat we can swim walk run etcetera
