Here is your answer,
======================================
A reflecting telescope in which the light from the main mirror is deflected by a small flat secondary mirror set at 45°, sending it to a magnifying eyepiece in the side of the telescope.
It reflects the light from distant objects to a single point a second smaller mirror then bounces.
The light into an eyepiece because the light does not pass through a thick lens by reflecting the light Newton's telescope produces the sharpest images in the world.
