The second law of motion states that the rate of change of momentum is directly proportiin to the force applied and the change in momentum takes place in the direction of applied force. Eg: If you use the same force to push a truck and push a car, the car will have more acceleration than the truck, because the car has less mass. Newton's third law of motion states that for every action there is an eual and opposite reaction. Eg: the recoil force of the gun.
