Nitrogen Cycle : The nitrogen cycle is the biochemical cycle by which nitrogen is converted into multiple chemical forms as it circulates among the atmosphere, terrestrial, and marine ecosystems. The conversion of nitrogen can be carried out through both biological and physical processes.

Carbon Cycle :
In the atmosphere, carbon is attached to some oxygen in a gas called carbon dioxide. Plants usecarbon dioxide and sunlight to make their own food and grow. The carbon becomes part of the plant. Plants that die and are buried may turn into fossil fuels made of carbon like coal and oil over millions of years.

nitrogen is present in atmosphere off around 78%
the steps that are involved in nitrogen cycle is

first nitrogen fixation- see the nitrogen is present in a large amount in atmosphere but plants cannot uses nitrogen directly so first this nitrogen gets converted into nitrogenous compounds such as nitrates then nitrogen is consumed by animals through food chain

second step ammonification it is a process of conversion of nitrates into ammonia through the excreta of animals or decomposition

third step is nitrification it is a conversion of ammonia into nitrates through nitrate bacteria

then our last and final step which is denitrification the conversion of nitrate into atmospheric nitrogen through denitrate bacteria

oxygen is present in atmosphere of about 20.9%

the process by which oxygen released into the atmosphere by photosynthetic organisms is taken up by aerobic organisms while the carbon dioxide released as a by-product of repiration is taken up for photosynthesis is called oxygen cycle
