Explain nitrogen cycle. I want answer for class 8
Answers
"The nitrogen cycle is the biogeological cycle by which nitrogen is converted into multiple chemical forms as it circulates among the atmosphere, terrestrial, and marine ecosystems."
Nitrogen flows in the following manner:
- The atmosphere consists of 78% nitrogen, combined in nature through the physical process of lightening or biologically by some bacteria or blue-green algae.
- The nitrogen present in nature is used by plants in metabolism and passes through the food chain.
- After the death of plants/animals, the organic nitrogen present in their dead tissues is decomposed by some bacteria that convert them into ammonia, nitrates and nitrites which are again used by plans.
- Some bacteria convert nitrates into molecular nitrogen which is released into the atmosphere while some are lost in the deep sediments of the ocean through erosion, wind, etc.

Explanation:
The atmosphere consist of 78% nitrogen, combined in nature through the physical cratical biologically by some bacteria or blue algae. Ex-Rhizobium bacteria I live in the nodules of leguminous plant they absorb nitrogen and use it in metabolism and in passes through food chain. They convert nitrogen into nitrates organic compound. Some of these plants are eaten by animals hehen these animals. die they are get decomposed and get converted in Ammonia. Some bacteria convert this ammonia into nitrêtes and then nitrates. When the nitrate is utilised by plant the excess hibates in the soul is reduced back to nitrogen and goes back into the atmosphere.
