 \textbf{here \: is \: your \: answer}

  \underline\textbf{Nomenclature}

Naming of organic compounds or carbon compounds.

Given by IUPAC system i.e. International Union of Pure & Applied Chemistry.

  \underline  \textbf{Rules must be followed given By IUPAC}

=> Select the longest continuous carbon chain
 called \: \:   \underline\textbf{longest \: chain \: rule}

=> Give numbering to the carbon atoms.

=> The group which is not included in the continuous chain is considered as the substituent.

=> Give the numbering in such a way that the least number should go to the carbon carrying the substituent.

=> If the compound contains any other functional group other than single bond, preference has to be given to the functional group rather than the substituent while numbering.

=> Write the name with proper position, root word and proper suffix.
