hey mate!

Nuclear energy can be used to create electricity, but it must first be released from the atom. ... The fuel that nuclear reactors use to produce nuclear fission is pellets of the element uranium. In a nuclear reactor, atoms of uranium are forced to break apart.

NUCLEAR ENERGY IS OF TWO TYPES⬇

✨ Nuclear Fusion: The process in which two nuclei of light elements combine to form a heavy nucleus.

✨ Nuclear Fission: Fission process is just opposite to fusion process.

USES OF NUCLEAR ENERGY ⬇

✨ It produces large amount of useful energy from a very small amount of nuclear fuel (uranium 235).

✨ Once the nuclear fuel is loaded into reactor, the nuclear power plant can go on producing electricity for two to three years at a stretch. There is no need in putting nuclear fuel again and again.

✨It does not produce gases like carbon dioxide which contributes to green house effect or sulphur dioxide which causes acid rain.

Hope it helps!☺
