A nuclear power plant is a type of power station that generates electricity using heat from nuclear reactions. These reactions take place within a reactor. The plant also has machines which remove heat from the reactor to operate a steam turbine and generator to make electricity.

NUCLEAR POWER PLANT
======================

NUCLEAR ENERGY
_______________

The energy releasedduring a nuclear reaction is called nuclear energy.Nuclear energy can be obtained by to types of nuclear reactions.:

1) Nuclear fission
---------------------
The process in which the heavy necleus of a radioactive (such as uranium , plutonium , thorium etc ) splits up into smaller nuclei when bombarded with low energy neutrons , is called nuclear fission.

☆THE ENERGY PRODUCED DURING NUCLEAR FISSION REACTIONS IS USED FOR GENERATING ELECTRICITY AT NUCLEAR POWER PLANTS.

2)Nuclear fusion
-----------------------
The process in which two nuclei of light elements (like that of hydrogen) cimbine to form a heavy nucleus(like that of helium is called nuclear fusion
