Nucleotide is the term describing organic molecules which create ucleic acid polymers deoxyribonucleic acid and ribonucleic acid. These acids are essential for all life forms within the earth.

They are also known as the basic unit which composes the basic blocks of the DNA and essentially form a DNA chain by adding all of these building blocks together.

It is important to note that nucleotide are very essential for all life forms (plants, animal, etc.) and the reason for that is due to blocks of nucleic acids.
