◾Hydrogen is present in the combined state in water to an extent of 11.1% by mass.

◾It is also present in all organic compounds as well as biomolecules.

◾It is also present in all stars because nuclear fusion reactions involved hydrogen isotopes.

◾About 70% of the universe is made up of hydrogen.

◾Hydrogen is also present in Coal, Petroleum , vegetable and animal matter.

◾ It is present in the earth's crust to an extent of 0.9 %.
