Explain: On the geo-stationary satellite,what revolves around the earth in an orbit,the work done due to gravitational force of earth is zero.

As the displacement of the satellite

Is always along the tangent to the circular orbit and the gravitational force acts towards the center of the circular path. Hence the displacement is perpendicular to the gravitational force and hence the work done in the moving satellite becomes zero.
