Oral contraceptives -

Small doses of pills which contains

Progestogen or Progestogen + estrogen

Progestogen - Thicken the cervical mucus

and

Estrogen - Abstruct the pituitary to produce luetinsing hormone which prevents Ovulation.

Women should take 5 days after menstrual cycle and continue it to taking whole 21 days . When 7 days when women do not take pills will experience Menstrual cycle following after this she need to take pills again
