Oscillatory Motion :
Oscillatory motion is defined as the to and fro motion of an object from its mean position. To describe mechanical oscillation, the term vibration is used which is found in a swinging pendulum. Likewise, the beating of the human heart is an example of oscillation in dynamic systems.
Period Motion :
If a body recurs its motion along a definite path, about a certain point after a fixed interval of time is called the periodic motion. The fixed interval of time after which the motion is repeated is called the period of motion.
