  4. It leads to formation of corpus .

Menstruation .

  1. It is discharge of blood , mucus and broken endometrial lining .
  2. It caused by deficiency of progesterone and estrogen .
  3. It occurs on first 4-5 day of menstrual cycle .
  4. It is preceded by degeneration of corpus luteum .
  5. It indicates absence of fertilisation
