Ans. A palindromic sequence is a nucleic acid sequence in a double-stranded DNA or RNA molecule wherein reading in a certain direction (e.g. 5' to 3') on one strand matches the sequence reading in the same direction (e.g. 5' to 3') on the complementary strand

What is Immunity ?

Ans. In biology, immunity is the capability of multicellular organisms to resist harmful microorganisms. Immunity involves both specific and nonspecific components. The nonspecific components act as barriers or eliminators of a wide range of pathogens irrespective of their antigenic make-up.

Mention its types.

Ans. Two types of immunity exist — active and passive: Active immunity occurs when our own immune system is responsible for protecting us from a pathogen. Passive immunity occurs when we are protected from a pathogen by immunity gained from someone else.
