Paramagnetism
The property of certain materials that are weakly attracted to magnetic field is termed as paramagnetism
- Materials that display paramagnetism are called paramagnetic.
It was discovered by Micheal Faraday
Diamagnestism
Whenever two electrons are paired together in an orbital,
Or their total spin is 0,
Then it is termed as diamagnetism
It simply indicates that there are no unpaired electrons.
