⭐Photosynthesis is the biochemical process in which energy from sunlight is converted by plants, algae, into sugars.

⭐It is the process by which plants and other things make food.

⭐It is a chemical process that uses sunlight to turn carbon dioxide into sugars that the cell can use as energy.

⭐The energy absorbed by the chlorophyll is used to split water molecules into oxygen and hydrogen.

⭐The process by which green plants make their own food from carbon-dioxide and water in the presence of sunlight and chlorophyll.

⭐During this process oxygen gas is released.

⭐Example of photosynthesis is

➡ plants convert sugar and energy from water, air and sunlight into energy to grow.

Photosynthesis in simple words is a process in which plants inhale carbon dioxide and exhales Oxygen.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

>> In Photosynthesis plants abosorbs the sunlight and this light is changed into energy or glucose which serves as food for plants.

>> The essential elements of Photosynthesis are Sunlight, Carbon dioxide, water and Chlorophyll.

>> Chlorophyll is a green pigment present in the leaves of the plant.

>> Chlorophyll absorbs the sunlight which is changed into glucose.

>> The air which contains Oxygen and Co2 enters into plant through stomata there the air exchanges.

>> The formula for photosynthesis is 6CO2 + 6H2O + light energy = C6H12O6 + 6O2.

>> Photosynthesis is the most important chemical reaction in the earth.

>> As, it provides food for all living things in the world directly or indirectly.
