Explanation:

Phototropism is the response of a plant to sunlight. Geotropism is the response of stems and roots towards and against the Earth. An example of phototropism in the animal world is ants as they're attracted or they respond to sunlight and mostly come out during the day.

Answer: Phototropism is the growth movement of a plant in which it responds to sunlight whereas Geotropism is the growth movement in which a plant or a part of a plant grows towards or away from the Earth that is under gravitational influence.

Example: In animals like humans, re lower body moves towards the Earth whereas the upper body moves away from the Earth.
