Phycomycetes are also known as algal fungi and are characterized by presence of aseptate coenocytic hyphae.
example : Rhizopus, Saprolegnia, Albugo, Pythium, Mucor.

Phycomycetes are the member of kingdom Fungi. They are found in aquatic habitats and on decaying woods in moist and damp places. Or as obligate parasite.
Asexual reproduction take place by - Zoospores (motile) or by aplanospores . (non-motile) . These spores are produce endogenously.
Some examples are :- Mucor , Rhizopus, Albugo
