Difference between Web browsers and search engines

                                 

As per as survey by Google, 90% people don't know the difference between Search engines and web  browsers. There is not a very huge difference in Search engines and Browsers actually. But, The search engine and browsers are very different from others.

A browser is a software or program which is installed in our computer or system device to access the web pages and to get the apps and websites open in our device. The main work of the browser is to display the Coding and programming to user.

Browsers can only display the HTML, JavaScript, CSS and programming languages written by developers. As well, Browsers have the capacity of the accessing different kinds of web pages. Browsers don't uses any kind of program to find over internet.

Search engine is the program which is referred as a Searching document. The main work of search engine is to search the specific keyword which user has typed. If we put any keyword in the search engine, then the search engine search that keyword all over the internet.

Search engine uses the programs and software for finding the web pages of Keyword. Search engine can search all over the internet to find the web pages related to keyword. After getting the all web pages, search engine send it to the browser and browser displays us.

Difference between Search engine and browser point wise:

  • Browser is uses for accessing web pages and websites
  • Search engine is used for searching the specific keyword

  • Browsers can display only web-pages suggested by Search engine
  • Search engine finds the keywords all over the internet and send it to the browser. d

  • Chrome, Mozilla, Opera are the examples of Browsers
  • Google and Yahoo are the examples of Search engines.
