direct speech also known as reported speech is when a person is saying something to person 2
and indirect speech is when person 2 goes and tells the same thing to person 3.
Ex-"all the best rahul",riya said
this is direct speech
and indirect will be
riya wished all the best to rahul .

And indirect speech
Example :he said that he was very I'll
Indirect speech are always past tense

Direct speech is something than one tells to the other person. And indirect speech is something in which that person whom the first person is telling is saying that thing to the third person.
