It is the main part of excretion whole process of excretion is done here .

Nephorn is the functional and structural unit of kidney. Here several process takes place like ultrafiltration,selective reabsorption, macturition , etc. From nephron urine goes into the collecting duct where it forms pyramid like structure and passes into the ureter through pelvis. Through ureter urine goes into the urinary bladder where it is stored. At last the urine is being excreted by urethera.
