probability means a chance of getting the particular outcome of the trail.

eg: a coin is tossed then the probability of getting head is 1/2.

Probability mainly deals with possibilities and outcomes of certain events.

the possibility of a certain outcome in an event is termed as probability

it ranges from 0 to 1. if the probability of an event is 0 then it is termed as impossible event and if the probability of an event is 1 then it is called sure event.

examples of certain events dealing with probability are coins, cards, dices and more..

P(event)= number of outcomes/ total outcomes.

hope this helps. if you like it, feel free to mark it as brainliest.
