A fictitious force, also called a pseudo force, d'Alembert force or inertialforce, is an apparent force that acts on all masses whose motion is described using a non-inertial frame of reference, such as a rotating reference frame.

Explanation:

Circular motion is an accelerated motion. Therefore circular motion is in non inertial frame of reference in order to apply Newton's laws of motion we have to consider an imaginary force called as pseudo force.......
