Radcliff Brown is a British anthropologist. He had different concepts for social structure and social function.
He compares social structure to the structure of our body. This is because as body is made up of different organs and perform different functions society is also integrated with different components which are interdependent.
One component works taking support of other. If the functionality of one component is disturbed this influences function of other component.
